Description
Private Hubert Arthur Lyons Williams (84069, 1st Depot Battalion) was born around July of 1900 at Ellalong, NSW. He was working as a farmer when he enlisted in November 1917. Hubert died on 20 January 1918, after having been hit by a vehicle when alighting from a tram in Pitt Street, Sydney, NSW. He is buried in Young Cemetery, Young, NSW. His mother later wrote that he was 17 and a half years of age at the time of his death.
