Staff Sergeant Graham Richard Greenwood
Description
Staff Sergeant Graham Richard Greenwood was one of 22 New Zealanders seconded to Z Special Unit in 1944 during the Second World War. Previously Graham Greenwood had been serving in the New Zealand home defence. Graham was posted to operation AGAS 1 commanded by Major Francis George Leach 'Gort' Chester. During his service with Z Special Unit he was Mentioned in Dispatches for exceptional service in the field. In the post war years Graham ran his own business manufacturing electronic equipment, he served for 10 years in the New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) and established a Christian book selling business before retiring in 1988.
