Lance Corporal Thomas Dickinson
Description
Thomas Dickinson joined the Australian Imperial Force in October 1914. He was a 25 year old farmer living in Boyeo, Victoria. Private Dickinson embarked from Melbourne on 11 February 1915 with the 9th Light Horse Regiment aboard HMAT Karroo, arriving in Egypt in March 1915. Dickinson proceeded to Gallipoli in May 1915 with the 9th Light Horse Regiment. He was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal on 17 August 1915.
On 28 August Lance Corporal Dickinson was killed in action and buried at Hill 60.
