Private Harold Keith Honeysett
Description
Harold Keith Honeysett was born in 1894 in Mudgee, New South Wales, to Susan and Thomas Honeysett. He served with the cadets of the 15th Battalion in Newcastle for 12 months, and enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 4 June 1916 at the age of 21. Honeysett embarked from Sydney with the 22nd reinforcements to the 13th Battalion aboard SS Port Nicholson on 8 November 1916. He served in France and was also a member of the 13th Battalion Band. He returned to Australia in August 1919, working as a labourer and living in the Sydney suburb of Lidcombe. He married Vera Macwilliams in 1924 and died two years later on 11 July 1926.
