Private Miller Maffaking Fergusson
Description
Private Miller Maffaking Fergusson (6082, 27th Battalion) was a laborer from Quorn, South Australia. He joined the 27th Battalion on 9 April 1917. Only a month later, on 5 May 1917, he was wounded in action near Bapaume, and died later that day. Miller is buried in the Grevillers British Cemetery, France. His mother wrote that he was 16 years 4 months when he died, and that he had two brothers who also served in the war.
