Private James Young
Description
Private James Young (2812, 55th Battalion) was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and moved to Australia when he was 14 years of age. He was wounded at Fleubaix, France on 1 October 1916 and died 4 hours later. James is buried in the Anzac Cemetery, Sailly-sur-la-Lys, France. His father wrote that he was 16 and a half years of age.
