Description
Private Harold Keith Page (3486, 48th Battalion) was born in Adelaide, SA. He was working as a driver when he enlisted in September 1916. Harold was hit in the thigh by a shell during the attack at Passchendaele on 12 October 1917 and died a few minutes later. He is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Ypres, Belgium. Harold’s brother wrote that Harold was 17 years of age at the time of his death.
