Private Reginald Tutton
Description
Private Reginald Tutton (4308, 11th Battalion) was born in Bristol, England. He was working as a farmer at Kirup, WA, when he enlisted in September 1915. Reginald was wounded in action near Fleurbaix, France, on 28 May 1916, only eleven days after joining the battalion. He died the following day as a result of his injuries. Reginald was 17 years of age. He is buried in the Estaires Communal Cemetery and Extension, France. Reginald’s brother Edwin John Tutton was also killed in France, on 29 July 1916. Another brother, Frank, also served with the AIF.
