Trooper William Henry Adams
Description
Trooper William Henry Adams (611, 2nd Australian Light Horse) was born in Thargomindah, Queensland, on 18 November 1897. He was working as a motor mechanic in Brisbane, QLD when he enlisted on 4 September 1914. William was killed in action near Quinns post, Gallipoli on 13/14 May 1915. He is buried in Shrapnel Valley Cemetery. He was 17 years 6 months at the time of his death. William’s brother Sergeant Vivian Douglas Adams was also killed at Gallipoli on 31 October 1915.
