Private Albert Stanley Scott
Description
Private Albert Stanley Scott (949, 15th Battalion) was born on 28 August 1897 at Gympie, Queensland. Before enlisting in September 1914, he was working as a cane cutter. Albert was killed on 28 April 1915 on the hills above the beach at Gallipoli. He was buried at Popes Hill Cemetery, but later reinterred at Quinn’s Post Cemetery. He was aged 17 years 8 months.
