Private James Arthur Eady
Description
Private James Arthur Eady (1513, 23rd Battalion) was born in Ballarat, Victoria. He was working as a printer when he enlisted in March 1915. “Jim” was killed in action at Pozieres on 22 August 1916, and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France. James’ mother wrote that he was 17 years and 10 months of age.
