Kenneth William Gauley
Description
Driver Kenneth William Gauley (3676, 4th Australian Divisional Mechanical Transport Company) was a motor mechanic from Fitzroy, Victoria. He died on 19 April 1919 as a result of a fractured pelvis sustained in an accident the day before. Kenneth is buried in the Marcinelle New Communal Cemetery, Belgium. His mother wrote that he was 17 years 11 months at the time of his death. Kenneth’s brother Private James Alexander Gauley served with the 23rd Battalion.
