Henry Walter Seymour Dumbrill
Description
Private (Bugler) Henry Walter Seymour Dumbrill (1134, 10th Battalion) was born in Semaphore, SA, and enlisted in Adelaide as a bugler on 23 October 1914. He was attached to the 1st Reinforcements for the 10th Battalion and landed on Gallipoli with the Battalion on 25 April 1915. Henry was evacuated sick from Gallipoli and sent to the UK. He rejoined the 10th Battalion at the end of July 1916 but died on 23 August 1916 of wounds received in action at Mouquet Farm, aged 18 years. He is buried in the Courcellette British Cemetery, France.
