Description
Private William Patrick Philip Thelning (2759, 30th Battalion) was born in Darlington, NSW, in August 1899. He was working as a tool collector with the NSW Tramway when he enlisted in January 1916. William was killed in action near Broodseinde Ridge on 13 October 1917, aged 18 years. He is buried in the Dochy Farm New British Cemetery, Passchendaele, Belgium.
