Private Walter Clarence Harris
Description
Private Walter Clarence Harris (1917B, 19th Battalion) was born in Tumut, NSW. He was living and working as a bootmaker in Temora, NSW, when he enlisted in March 1916. Walter was killed in action on 3 May 1917 during the second battle of Bullecourt. He is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France. Walter was 17 years of age.
