Private Archie Douglas Briggs
Description
Private Archie Douglas Briggs enlisted to the Second Australian Imperial Force on 4 June 1940. He served with 2/15 Australian Infantry Battalion in Palestine, Egypt, and Libya. On 20 April 1941, Private Briggs was killed in action in Libya. He is buried at Knightsbridge War Cemetery, Acroma, Libya.
