Flight Sergeant Christopher Joseph Deutscher
Description
Flying Officer Christopher Joseph Deutscher enlisted to the Royal Australian Air Force on 29 May 1942. He trained in Australia, the United Kingdom and Egypt as a wireless operator and air gunner. On 5 September 1944, while training at the Royal Air Force Station at Gianaclis, Egypt, Flying Officer Deutscher was killed in an air accident. He is buried at Chatby Military and War Memorial Cemetery, Alexandria, Egypt.
