Private Edward George Robinson
Description
Private Edward George Robinson enlisted to the Second Australian Imperial Force on 6 May 1941. He served with 2/20 Australian Infantry Battalion in Malaya, but was captured as a prisoner of war in February 1942. As a prisoner of war, Private Robinson participated in work parties in Singapore, the Burma-Thai Railway, and Japan. After the war, he returned to Australia and was discharged on 9 January 1946.
