Corporal Edward Alan Bellamy
Description
Edward Alan Bellamy enlisted to the Australian Imperial Force on 20 July 915, at the age of 24. He served with 14 Field Artillery Brigade in Egypt, France and Belgium. In October 1917, Bellamy was quickly promoted from private to bombardier to temporary corporal, as his superiors were promoted or wounded. Corporal Bellamy was killed in action on 3 November 1917 in Belgium. He is buried at Hooge Crater Cemetery, Belgium.
