Private William West Anderson Jennings
Description
Private William West Anderson Jennings (1810, 21st Battalion) was born at Ravensthorpe, England, on 6 June 1899. He came to Australia at the age of fourteen, and was working as a farm labourer when he enlisted in June 1915. William was killed in action on 19 July 1916 during the battle of Fromelles. He is buried in the Rue-Du-Bois Military Cemetery, Fleurbaix, France. William was 17 years and 1 month of age.
