Private John Thomas Doyle
Description
Private John Thomas Doyle (869, 30th Battalion) was born in Armidale, NSW in 1900. He was working as a labourer when he enlisted in July 1915. John was killed in action at Pozieres on 20 July 1916 and is commemorated at the VC Corner Australian Cemetery and Memorial, Fromelles, France. John's brother, Private George Henry Doyle, was also killed in action in 1918.
