Description
Trooper George Stanley Arthur King (3110, 3rd Battalion, Imperial Camel Corps) was born in Gympie, QLD, on 4 April 1900. He was working as an insurance clerk when he enlisted in March 1916. George was killed in action on 6 November 1917 at Tel-Khuweilfe near Beersheba, Palestine, and is buried in the Beersheba War Cemetery, Beersheba, Israel. He was 17 years 7 months of age at the time of his death.
