Description
The troopship HMAT Orsova (A67), fully laden with soldiers, is slowly being pulled away from the wharf, watched by a large crowd of well wishers. The troopship HMAT Vestalia (A44) stands at the wharf behind HMAT Osova. Paper Streamers join the crowd to the soldiers on the ship. On the middle deck two nurses lean on the rail and watch the proceedings. In the right foreground a soldier has his head out of a porthole talking to another soldier on the edge of the wharf.
