Truro
Description
Truro is a city in Cornwall England. During the First World War, the Truro Union Work House was converted for use as the Truro Auxiliary Naval Hospital. It opened in November 1915 and closed in March 1919. Consisting of 210 beds this auxiliary home hospital treated 4000 patients, and may have been the location of a leave centre for wounded from the Western Front.
