Description
Diary, postcards, newscuttings and ephemera relating to the service of (2382) Trooper Cecil Thomas Spencer, 6 Light Horse Regiment in Palestine. The diary and letter postcard record his capture by the Turks at Amman, March 1918 and subsequent hospitalisation in Damascus. Papers include his Second World War Indentity Card and Eastern Command Guerilla Warfare School student's report (1942).
