Collection relating to the Second World War service of Group Captain Ian Lindsay Campbell, RAAF. Campbell saw service in Australia, Egypt, England and Germany. Collection consists of:
(a) three volumes of a diary kept by Campbell from November 1941 to November 1943;
(b) flying log book of Ian Lindsay Campbell c.1949-59 (contains loose papers re 'flying hours' inside the back cover);
(c) Royal Air Force file c.1943, containing correspondence relating to the duties and service of Wing Commander Ian L Campbell, No. 454 Squadron, RAAF in the Middle East;
(d) RAAF pay book (1943);
(e) letter of life membership for Ian Lindsay Campbell from RAAF Richmond Gliding Club;
(f) photocopy of certificate of service from the Royal Australian Air Force, issued 19 November 1964;
(g) copy of commemorative speech for Ian Lindsay Campbell, delivered by Air Commodore A. D. 'Pete' Henderson OBE, December 2000;
(h) notes on the career of Ian Lindsay Campbell;
