Panitz, Gordon DFC, (Acting Wing Commander, b.1915 - d.1944)
Description
Flying log book kept by Panitz, records certificates of qualifications, aircraft type, duties, pilot names, flying hours. Also inserts of correspondence including notification of missing in action and reports. Panitz' missions included "Overlord". He flew Mosquitos, Ansons, Oxfords, Beauforts and Blenheims.
