Souvenir program related to theatrical performances during the First World War and the period when troops were waiting to return to Australia. This program is for stories of the operas performed by The Royal Carl Rosa Opera Company and includes 'The Tales of Hoffmann', 'The Bohemian Girl', 'Faust', 'Maritana', 'Carmen', 'Cavalleria Rusticana', 'Pagliacci', 'Rigoletto', 'Tannhauser', 'Il Trovatore', 'The Merry Wives of Windsor', 'Madame Butterfly', 'La Boheme' and 'Mignon'. The program has been annotated by hand with the comments 'Seen at Carl Rosa, seen at Drury Lane, seen at Covent Lane [Garden]'. Each of these comments refers to annotations in the program indicating venues of the operas attended.
