Description

A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to New Guinea. The leaflet is accompanied by an English translation of the text. The message advises Japanese soldiers in New Guinea that the Japanese General Staff has been hiding the defeat in New Guinea and has decided to abandon soldiers there so that they will not live to tell the truth of the failed campaign. It urges Japanese officers and men to surrender so that they can live to tell the truth.
