Description

A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia and the Netherlands East Indies. An English translation of the text is attached. The message, which is supposedly written by a Japanese prisoner of war, emphasises the futility of war and criticises the current political system in Japan. The author tells his comrades that they have done more than enough and questions whether it is still unpardonable that they be saved by the Allied Forces from death.
