Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Iwo Jima and Manila Bay. An English translation of the text is attached. Events covered by this issue include the landing of the American troops on Iwojima on 19 February, the recapture of the Subic Bay naval base on 13 February, the Crimea Conference, the advance of the Russian troops into Budapest and the performance of the Allied bombers in Germany.
