Description
Japanese soldier's autographed national flag featuring numerous Japanese characters in black ink. Translation of characters: On top in large characters 'Congratulations on your going to the battlefield'; on the right side in large characters 'To Mr. Inoue Sannosuke'; along the right edge in line characters 'For the Imperial soldier going to a battlefield' and Holy Lotus Sutra 'Wish long-lasting fortune of war by Takehata Hakushu [Monk]'; along upper edge 'Victory'; followed by numerous male and female signatures.
