Long, stem and herringbone stitch embroidery, with French knots. The embroidery depicts a farmhouse with smoke rising from the chimney against a blue sky. In front of the house is a green field divided by a brown fence. The field runs down to a pond upon which a white duck swims. A second duck stands on the bank. Next to the pond is a large tree in blossom and two small clumps of daffodils.
