Description

25 pdr metal ammunition box used to transport 4 x 25 pdr cartridges. The box is made from metal stampings and has a hinged lid. A fold down metal carry handle is attached at each end. The box is painted olive drab. Markings - 25 PR MK 1D F2D L9D LOT 02 7517 M5 3-DY 44 4 SHELL 25 PR HE MK 1D F2-119B-17; 42-MY-9-61. Impressed in metal - P59 II EMC 1943.
