DescriptionBritish Artillery Officer Sword. Three bar steel guard, backstrap and pommel that have traces of silver paint. The guard is stamped NSWG over 6 on the outside and 3/93 over CT over I on the inside near the quillon. The grip is fishskin bound with brass wire. The slightly curved blade has a flat back and a single fuller on each side to within 12 inches of the double edged spear point.
SummaryThis sword is reputed to have been removed from General Bridges grave at Duntroon on the evening of the burial.
