Description
This recording was made in Cairo by the Mechian Company. Armenian businessman Setrak Mechian ran a small record manufacturing business in Cairo from around 1908, where he produced hand-pressed shellac discs. Written on this disc is the message "To my dear Mother, with love Miller". Henry Miller Lanser was killed in action in France on 5 November 1916.
