Description

Deak speaks of his role in Operation Queanbeyan, a search-and-destroy operation in the Nui Thi Vai complex of Phuoc Tuy Province, 16-26 October 1966. In 1974 Deak adopted his father's title, and is now known as Michael Gunther Joseph Deak von Berg (Baron von Berg).
