Outside Buckingham Palace after receiving his award is 400114 Flying Officer (FO) Jacques J Dupont DFM, RAAF, of 230 Squadron, RAF (later 461 Squadron, RAAF) from Melbourne, Vic, with his sister-in-law Mrs R Dupont of London (right), and Lieutenant K. DeVilliers of Pretoria, South Africa. FO Dupont was lost on operations over the Bay of Biscay on 29 November, 1943.
