Wesel, Germany. Damaged railway carriages in the town of Wesel. This town was given a heavy and concentrated bombing by British heavies as a prelude to the opening of the Cross-Rhine offensive on 1945-03-24. After the bombing, in which RAAF bombers took part, commandos occupied the town.
