Germany. 1945-04-28. 427949 Warrant Officer D. R. (Tim) Rutter of Mt Lawley, WA, in station sick quarters after returning from behind enemy lines. He was shot down near Bremen, parachuted safely, spent two days and nights working his way back to the front and was picked up by a bren-gun carrier.
