Baria, South Vietnam. February 1970. Four curious Vietnamese children are fascinated with Major (Maj) Marcus Hitch's Army issue watch. Maj Hitch from Belmont, NSW, is the Australian education adviser to Phuoc Tuy Province. His unit is the 1st Australian Civil Affairs unit, based at Nui Dat, whose task is the co-ordination and implementation of Australian civil affairs' projects in the province. He was making one of his many visits to the province capital.
