Description

Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. 9 March 1970. Lance Corporal Barry Noble of Holsworthy, NSW, sorts his rations and makes himself a brew after a re-supply to B Company, 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), in the jungle east of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) base. The battalion was taking part in Operation Finschhafen, its first since arriving in the war zone. Commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Ron Gray of Watsons Bay, NSW, the battalion is on its second tour of duty.
