Bien Hoa, South Vietnam. June 1970. The Chief of Staff of the Headquarters Australian Force Vietnam, Colonel (Col) J. Whitelaw (centre), admires an embroidered cloth given to him by prisoners of war (POWs) of the III Corps Tactical Zone POW cage. The present was made by the POWs themselves. Col Whitelaw had presented a small library of Vietnamese books to the camp. The camp's senior American adviser, Captain E. Reeves is on the left, and the Vietnamese commandant Major Sanh Qui is on the right.
