Final Preliminary Documentation available to view online

The Australian War Memorial has today released the Environmental Protection Biodiversity & Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) 'Final Preliminary Documentation' for the proposed development project on its website.

This documentation was submitted to the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE) for consideration on 29 September 2020 following more than nine months of design resolution and public consultation since its original November 2019 EPBC Act Referral Submission.

Public notices drawing attention to the documentation will appear in newspapers nationally on Wednesday 7 October 2020 - advising the information will be available to view for 10 business days at the following locations: 

  • Access Canberra Shopfront, 8 Darling Street Mitchell ACT
  • ACT Libraries, Civic Library, Civic Square, London Circuit, Canberra City
  • Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, John Gorton Building, King Edward Terrace, Parkes  ACT
  • Online at the Australian War Memorial Development Project website: https://www.awm.gov.au/ourcontinuingstory/ourplans
