Monday 11 November 2019 marks the 101st anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War (1914–18). At 11 am, the nation will pause to observe a minute’s silence in memory of those who have died or suffered in war and peacekeeping and humanitarian operations.

The Remembrance Day National Ceremony at the Australian War Memorial includes a formal wreathlaying and will be attended by many high-level dignitaries, diplomats, and school students, as well as thousands of members of the general public. Australia’s Federation Guard and the Band of the Royal Military College will be on parade.

Tickets can be booked online via the Memorial’s website. Once booked, tickets will be emailed and must be presented on the day.
