Warrant Officer Class Two C.B. “Jerry” Shawcross did a tour in Vietnam in 1966 as a sergeant in 5 Battalion, C Company, and discharged from the army in 1978 after 21 years of service. This drawing is a tribute to my father, who was getting weary with the years, and who always spoke to me about his time served in Vietnam, the soldiers who served with him, the soldiers who died and his love for the army.
My father passed away suddenly in May this year and I will miss him.
