Lea comes to the Memorial with 30 years of strategic design thinking as a multi-disciplinary creative director. Demonstrating a commitment to the integrity of cultural expression, in the management and design of large scale exhibition projects both nationally and internationally, interpretive wayfinding, built environment structures, stunning publications, digital audio visual experiences, destination branding and strategic design communications that re-shape the way an audience perceives a brand.

Lea's experience has informed an ability for seeing beyond the brief to find innovative solutions for interpreting the real communication objectives of any project, delivering perceptive, innovative and engaging solutions for audiences. Coupled with a relaxed assurance in the pressured business of design. Lea has held Executive, Senior Manager and Design Director positions at Artists in Motion, TransportNSW, Imagination Australia, CampbellBarnett, Sydney Living Museums (Historic House Trust of NSW), The Australian Museum, Sydney Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and the Art Gallery of NSW, and actively pursues a collegial approach to all project solutions.
