Andrew McDonald

Andrew McDonald began editing in the Military History section of the Memorial in 2007. He had previously taught English at Macquarie, then moved to the Subtitling section of SBS-TV. There he was an editor of subtitles, then senior editor, unit manager, then switched finally to editing and producing narrations in English for foreign documentaries - about 500, including 54 on the Third Reich. Good training. At the Memorial he edits Wartime as well as books, smaller publications and other texts, including those for exhibitions. He has written and presented reviews and features for ABC Radio, one of which was nominated for the Prix Italia. His third book of poems, Night Music, will be published in 2017.
