Assistant Director, Branch Head Public Programs - Anne Bennie
Ms Anne Bennie was appointed Assistant Director, Branch Head Public Programs in January 2015 to lead the interpretive and service delivery areas of the Memorial across visitor engagement, commemoration, exhibitions and communications, and digital.
She joined the Memorial in 2003 and in 2004 was appointed Head, Retail and Online Sales, responsible for commercial revenue, licensing and partnership opportunities with a number of commercial entities. In 2013 Ms Bennie led the planning and delivery of multiple public engagement projects for the Centenary of the First World War (2015-2018).
During her tenure, Ms Bennie has worked to promote and deliver a world-class memorial, archive and museum experience and provided representation and membership to various related forums, groups and initiatives across the national cultural institutions.
Ms Bennie's career prior to the Memorial was within market research, advertising and strategic development of websites and e-commerce initiatives.
Ms Bennie has completed the Company Directors Course, the Cultural Management Development Program and holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management.
