Terry Maynard aged 57 living on Cape Barren Island. Employed as a Truwana Ranger on the island, (Truwana is our language name for Cape Barren Island). Terry has a long history of employment as a cultural heritage officer in Tasmania which involved working with the Cultural Heritage Unit and National Parks and Wildlife. Terry states that this experience allowed him to come back home. Reconnect with my people on Cape Barren Island, "to heal my own country, back to my country where I was born."
